The Durand Community Library is a combination public / high school library located inside the Durand High School building.  The community entrance is located to the left of the High School entrance.

The Durand Community Library offers a wide variety of services to the public:
  • Internet access (free, but 30 minute time limit if someone's waiting) but no email access available
  • Popular word processing and spreadsheet software programs
  • Online research databases
  • Microfilm reader / printer
  • Comprehensive reference and research materials \
  • Wide variety of fiction and non-fiction books from young to the adult
  • Wide variety of videos, books on tape, and music cassettes
  • Storytime for preschoolers is available three times a year.  Registration is required.  Summer reading programs available

Genealogy Research

The Durand Community Library staff offers genealogy research for a small fee of $6.00 per request. Due to limited staff, research is done when time is available.  The research can only be done if you specify name and date of the person for research.  For more information email: blopa@faculty.durand.k12.wi.us
