SNOW REMOVAL PARKING NOTICE

CITY ORDINANCE 14.1.07 PARKING, STOPPING AND STANDING REGULATIONS.

1. PARKING Limitations. No one shall park a motor vehicle in any one place on any street, alley, or highway within the City for a period exceeding 24 hours on said thoroughfares subject to the following exceptions.

B. SNOW REMOVAL. No person shall park any motor vehicle between the hours of

12:00 midnight and 6:00a.m. on any street, alley or highway in the City during

the months of November, December, January, February and March for the

purpose of SNOW REMOVAL.

Vehicles found to be in violation of the ordinance will be ticketed and those violations interfering with the clean-up process in the business area will be towed away immediately. Vehicles left over 24 hours after receiving a ticket in a Residential Area will also be subject to tow away enforcement action.

The minimum cost for a tow away to the vehicle owner will be $50.00. The size of the vehicle and other circumstances could increase this amount. The parking violation ticket is $10.00.

River Street – From 4^th Avenue West to 2^nd Avenue East (does not include boat landing)

Main Street – From Hwy 10 stop lights to Econo Food’s parking lot

Madison Street – From 7^th Avenue West to 2^nd Avenue East

Wells Street – From 4^th Avenue West to 2^nd Avenue West

1^st Avenue – From River Street to Madison Street

2^nd Avenue West – From River Street to Wells Street

3^rd Avenue West – From Main Street to Wells Street

4^th Avenue West – From River Street to Wells Street

5^th Avenue West – From Main Street to Madison Street
